Launching Creative STEAM Workshops with StoryToon and the Ukrainian Library in Gdańsk
We are proud to announce the launch of a new series of STEAM educational workshops in Gdańsk, created in partnership with the Ukrainian Library in Gdańsk. The workshops combine history, literature, and technology, allowing children and teachers to create AI-powered educational videos using our StoryToon tool.

StoryToon is an AI video generator for education that helps transform lesson content into interactive, animated stories. In these workshops, kids learn how to animate famous buildings, tell stories with digital tools, and connect classical knowledge with modern creativity.

Workshop 1: Discovering Shakespeare in Gdańsk – From the Model to Długi Targ
📅 September 27, 12:00–16:00
📍 Institute of Urban Culture, Targ Rakowy 11, Gdańsk
The first workshop introduced participants to Shakespeare’s world through the lens of Gdańsk’s history. Children and teachers started with a detailed model of the city, animating its landmarks with StoryToon. By blending fragments of Romeo and Juliet and Othello with digital storytelling, participants explored themes of love, betrayal, and fate while learning how to create their own STEAM-based video projects.

The session continued with a guided walk along Długi Targ, where history met imagination. Kids then performed improvised scenes inspired by Shakespeare, bridging classical literature, local heritage, and modern creativity.

Why This Matters for STEAM Education
These workshops highlight how AI and digital storytelling tools can make STEAM education more engaging. Instead of passive learning, children actively create content—linking science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics through cultural stories.
By combining AI-generated animations with literature and history, we give young learners a unique experience:
- Creativity: Turning stories into short educational videos.
- Technology: Learning how AI video generators work in practice.
- Collaboration: Working together as teams of young creators.
- Cultural context: Bringing Shakespeare into the streets of Gdańsk.

What’s Next
This is only the beginning of our workshop series. In partnership with the Ukrainian Library, we will continue to organize events where children can discover culture, history, and science—while learning how to use the latest AI tools for education.
Stay tuned for the next StoryToon workshops in Gdańsk, and join us in shaping a new future of interactive STEAM learning through AI-generated videos.
